Dr. Dilum Ekanayake graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine Surgery and Science in 2016. Since then he has undertaken extensive further training in surgery and critical care medicine. With an interest in procedures, mental health and chronic disease he also sits as a Lecturer in medicine at The University of Queensland and Griffith University.
He is currently completing his Masters in Public health and RACGP research post while continuing to be involved in health policy through his work at the AMA.
Outside of work he enjoys travelling, reading, and his musical pursuits.
