Doctor Shabana Jaipurwala is a specialist general practitioner with great breadth and depth of experience working as a GP over three and half decades across three continents-India, East Africa and Australia.

Dr Jaipurwala loves helping patients with the whole spectrum of life from pregnancy and birth to the elderly. And in a rather short span of 15 years she is already treating three generations of many families and this seems to give her the greatest joy!

She was awarded fellowship (FRACGP) in General Practice from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, She has also completed Diploma in Child Health (DCH) . In addition to general practise and preventative medicine she focuses on women’s health, antenatal care, post natal care, sexual and reproductive health, infertility and family planning.

Dr Jaipurwala taught and mentored-through RACGP Bridging course-scores of IMGs who attended the Bridging courses developed by RACGP, she was lead educator in Queensland for the bridging course for 7 years from 2007 to 2013.from January 2010 to June 2013 she also served as Board member of RACGP (QLD), serving as an assessment panel chair for the same period.
